Return and Refund Policy

This Return and Refund Policy applies to purchases made from CarInterra through our online store.

1. Return window

You may request a return within 30 days after delivery for eligible products.

To be eligible for a return, the product must be:

  • unused, uninstalled, and in its original condition;
  • in the original packaging, including all accessories, films, squeegees, labels, manuals, and protective liners where applicable;
  • free from installation marks, fingerprints on adhesive surfaces, creases, cuts, contamination, or other damage caused after delivery;
  • accompanied by proof of purchase.

2. Products that cannot be returned

The following items are not eligible for return unless they are defective, damaged in transit, or incorrect:

  • products that have been installed, partially installed, peeled, cut, trimmed, washed, or otherwise used;
  • car interior PPF kits or screen protectors made to the customer's selected vehicle model, trim, year, screen size, or other specifications, where applicable law allows custom-made products to be excluded from change-of-mind returns;
  • clearance, final sale, gift card, or promotional items marked as non-returnable at the time of purchase;
  • items damaged because of incorrect installation, improper surface preparation, exposure to dust or moisture during installation, misuse, accident, or modification.

3. EU/EEA and UK consumer withdrawal rights

If you are a consumer located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have the right to withdraw from an eligible distance purchase within 14 days after you or your designated recipient receives the goods, without giving a reason.

This withdrawal right may not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized, including vehicle-specific pre-cut products where the item is produced according to your selected vehicle model, trim, year, screen size, or other specifications.

If you exercise a legal withdrawal right, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods unless applicable law requires otherwise or we agree to pay those costs.

4. Damaged, defective, or incorrect items

Please inspect your order when it arrives. Contact us within 7 days after delivery if the item is damaged, defective, missing parts, or not what you ordered.

Please include:

  • your order number;
  • photos or video of the product, packaging, shipping label, and the issue;
  • your vehicle model, year, trim, and screen size where relevant.

If we confirm that the issue was caused by our error, a product defect, or shipping damage, we will offer a replacement, refund, or other remedy required by applicable law.

5. Fitment responsibility

Many products are vehicle-specific. Before ordering, you are responsible for checking the vehicle make, model, year, trim, steering configuration, screen size, and any product compatibility notes.

If you are unsure about fitment, contact us before placing the order. We are not responsible for fitment issues caused by incorrect vehicle information supplied by the customer.

6. How to start a return

To request a return, contact us at hello@carinterra.com with your order number and reason for return.

Do not send any item back without return approval. Returns sent without authorization may be refused.

7. Return shipping

For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs, customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and any loss or damage during return transit.

For approved defective, damaged, or incorrect items caused by our error, we will provide return instructions and, where required, cover reasonable return shipping costs.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service. We are not responsible for returned items lost in transit.

8. Refunds

After we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether the refund is approved.

For approved change-of-mind returns, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the product refund. This fee does not apply where prohibited by law, or when the return is due to our error, a confirmed product defect, shipping damage, or an incorrect item.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Original shipping charges, duties, taxes, and payment processing fees may be non-refundable unless required by law or unless the return is due to our error.

Your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may require additional time to post the refund.

9. Exchanges

The fastest way to get the correct item is to return the eligible item and place a new order after the return is approved. For defective, damaged, or incorrect items, we may offer a replacement instead of a refund.

10. Order cancellations

Orders can only be cancelled before they are processed, customized, packed, or shipped. Once production or fulfillment has started, cancellation may not be possible.
